Floral in Soft Greens - Palette Knife

I really enjoyed doing this painting, using only a palette knife.
It was so much fun! This one is done in acrylics... it is 11x14
on canvas board. ~ Glo

Note: This painting was done in 2007, but I am just adding
to my blog. I plan to enter it in Spring Into Arts - 2009.

"We Two"

"We Two" - 11x14 acrylic on canvasboard
finger painting
This is the same painting. I couldn't decide which matt I liked
best. I'd love to hear your choice? Do you like the lavender best,
or the beige matt? I like them equally.
This is an 11x14. A little bigger than most of them.
I know I say this a lot, but this was so much fun!

"Free to Be"

"Free to Be" 8x10 acrylic on canvasboard
finger painting

I really did feel free when painting this one.
Some paintings come less freely, and seem to involve
a little more thinking and a little more "work."

But this one was "Free to Be." ~ Glo

"Stop the Madness"

"Stop the Madness" 8x10 on canvasboard
finger painting with quality acrylic paints
I'm not sure why I titled this one "Stop the Madness," but
for some reason it seemed to fit. Maybe it's all the different
colors in one painting. Maybe it's the pattern in the painting.

Don't we all feel like shouting sometimes:
"STOP the MADNESS!"

"Petals in the Wind"

"Petals in the Wind" - 16x20 acrylic on canvas
This was a really fun painting. I had painted the background
... shades of yellow and orange previously, and just added the
center ... painted with fingers, no brush. I am trying to
go up in size... each size has it's challenges, as acrylic
paint dries so quickly. Great fun! ~ Glo

"Through the Storm" 2 - Your imput

Just testing...

Trying to see how the little 5x7 canvasboard
would look mounted on the yellow 8x10 background.

Ummmm? If I had it in an actual frame, I think it would
look nicer. What do you think? ~ Glo

This one was a complete joy to paint. It was fast
and furious. Maybe you can tell? *LOL* But the
little flowers survived! We can too. ~ Glo
